Leo's Legislative Record
During his time in the Texas House, Leo Pacheco built a record of standing with taxpayers, protecting jobs, and defending conservative values. He fought to lower property taxes, ban red light cameras, stop backdoor government meetings, and prevent the creation of a state income tax. Pacheco also supported tort reform measures championed by TLR in every session he served, carried Sands-backed legislation to expand economic opportunity through casinos, and consistently voted to protect the oil and gas industry and defend Second Amendment rights. His record reflects a commitment to responsible government and putting Texas families first.
Where Leo Stands Now

Safe Streets, Strong Communities
Leo will back our police and first responders, while investing in smart solutions that stop crime before it starts. San Antonio families deserve safe neighborhoods they can count on.

Real Relief on
Property Taxes
No one should be taxed out of their home. Leo will fight runaway appraisals, cut wasteful spending, and protect taxpayers from ever-rising bills.

Jobs and Opportunity
for Every Family
Leo will continue to support the business community in Texas, and work to grow our local economy, cut red tape for small businesses, and bring better-paying jobs to San Antonio, so families can thrive here, not just get by.

Roads, Water, and
Growth that Works
Texas cities are growing fast, and we need infrastructure that keeps up. Leo will prioritize fixing roads, easing traffic, and securing water for the future.

Strong Schools,
Real Choice
Every child deserves a great education. Leo has always stood with teachers and parents, and will continue to support strong public schools, and give families the freedom to choose what’s best for their kids.

Secure Borders,
Smart Solutions
Texas must have safe and secure borders, as well as ensure that those criminal elements already in Texas are removed. Gangs, cartels, human smugglers, all must be prioritized and removed from the United States. Leo will continue to work with the Governor to ensure Texas law enforcement have the tools they need to assist the federal government in this endeavor.
